AWARE Client V2 is a versatile sensing framework tailored for the collection, inference, logging, and sharing of mobile context information among smartphone users and researchers alike. It captures a comprehensive array of data types including hardware-related, software-based, and human-centric data.

Individuals: Record your data
The application enables the automatic collection of user activity data, including information on location, steps, and various mobility types. Supplementary to the activity data, it gathers heart rate, sleep, and workout statistics through the HealthKit API with user consent. Users can manage sensor settings through the AWARE Dashboard, ensuring privacy as personal information such as phone numbers or contacts is not logged. Data is stored locally on the mobile device temporarily and subsequently uploaded to the AWARE server when conditions permit.

Scientists: Run studies
Facilitating mobile-related research studies has been greatly simplified with AWARE. Installing the app on participants' phones and selecting desired data parameters is all that's required. Utilizing the built-in AWARE server allows for the convenient setup of mobile questionnaires.

How to use AWARE Client iOS

 <li>Set up a study on the AWARE Dashboard:
 <ol>
 <li>Access the AWARE Dashboard via a web browser and create a study using the "Create Study" button.</li>
 <li>Select required sensors from the provided list for your study.</li>
 <li>Generate a QR code using the "Show QRcode" button.</li>
 </ol>
 </li>
 <li>To enroll in a study, scan the QR code using a QR code reader within the AWARE client.</li>
 <li>AWARE will autonomously collect and upload your contextual data in the background.</li>
 <li>You can exit a study by clicking on the 'Quit Study' button.</li>
</ol>

NOTE:
This application utilizes location services in the background. Prolonged use of GPS tracking can significantly reduce device battery life. Additionally, it may access location data even while not in use, affecting battery performance.
